What is FVRCP?
DHPP is a combination vaccine protecting against four major diseases:
- Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus)
- Calicivirus
- Panleukopenia
These diseases can cause severe illness or death, especially in kittens and unvaccinated cats.
What it protects against
Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis — a leading cause of upper respiratory infection. Some cats become lifelong carriers with flare-ups during stress.
Calicivirus — a highly contagious virus affecting the mouth and airway. Can spread quickly in multi-cat environments.
Panleukopenia (feline distemper) — a severe, often fatal disease attacking the immune system and digestive tract. Especially dangerous for kittens.
Booster schedule
- Kittens: 3–4 doses, each at least 3 weeks apart
- First booster: 1 year after the initial series
- After that: every 3 years

Offered as an add-on for cats already scheduled for a primary procedure. Not offered as a standalone visit.

- Pet monitored for immediate reactions

Most cats tolerate FVRCP vaccination well, with mild and temporary side effects if any.
